Centre for Health System Security Studies

The Centre for Health System Security Research provides a platform for the exchange of views, opinions, research results and experiences of scientists and experts in the fields of, inter alia, security, international relations, medicine, theology. The results of the activities may contribute to increasing knowledge of public health security threats and the possibilities of countering e.g. pandemics, biological terrorism. In addition, the Centre acts as an open scientific health security centre accessible to local communities. The mission of the Centre is to promote the achievements and research of the scientific community, especially the academic community of the WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza for the benefit of health security, which in turn will contribute, among others, to an increased sense of security among the inhabitants of border areas, including Cieszyn Silesia.
