During the meetings and workshops, the project partners presented the first results of the tools they had created and disseminated in the pilot stage, including: video tutorials for jobseekers, original 'memory' cards as language learning aids, and short illustrated tutorials for parents of migrant children and office applicants. These materials have been adapted to the needs of the users of the respective countries and will be used in educational activities.
The ALPHABETTER project aims to reduce the incidence of secondary and functional illiteracy among adults. The project consortium, led by WSB Academy, includes partners from ENAIP Veneto from Italy, MEPCO, s.r.o. from the Czech Republic and ECECE of Austria, as well as the University of California, San Diego. As part of the project activities, educational materials and methodologies are being developed specifically tailored to different target groups such as immigrants, immigrant families or unemployed people over 30 years of age.
