An international pilot of the training program "Design for sustainability in menufacturing sector" will be organized in February-June 2022. The pilot will be conducted in a hybrid format with the participation of students and researchers from WSB University, as well as Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering (Spain), University of Florence (Italy), University of Arts and Design in Cluj - Napoca (Romania).
Scope of the Pilot:
- University of Florence will conduct online classes in "Design and Sustainability"
- WSB University in collaboration with Cieszyn Castle will conduct online classes in "Economics, Business Model and Circular Economy"
- Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering will conduct online classes in "Product & Service Design"
- University of Arts and Design in Cluj - Napoca will be responsible for conducting the final five-day workshop summarizing the pilot.
WSB University can only qualify 3 students for this prestigious pilot.
Those qualified for the project will have to participate in online classes. At the same time, as part of the project they will participate in the following events conducted "live":
- 2-day kick-off meeting of the pilot in Barcelona,
- 5-day final workshop in Cluj-Napoca (Romania).
WSB University will cover costs of participation in both trips for 3 students qualified for the pilot.
All undergraduate and graduate students can apply to participate in the pilot.
The only requirement is knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2.
If you are interested in participating in the pilot, you are invited to the qualification process:
Step 1: Please submit a few sentences justifying why you should be selected to participate in the pilot. You should send your justification, in English, by 10 a.m. on 23 December 2021 to nauka@wsb.edu.pl. The email should include the rationale for wanting to participate and the name, email address and phone number of the person submitting their application.
Stage 2: Online interviews with selected candidates will be conducted on 28-29.12.2021.
Stage 3: Announcement of qualified pilot participants on 30.12.2021.
