Project "EUREGIO-INFO" funding from the program INTERREG V-A Czech Republic - Poland 2014-2020

Another success for the WSB University! Czech Ministry of Regional Development via its Joint Secretariat in Olomouc has published a list of applications recommended for funding under priority axis 4.

On this list there is also a project in which the WSB University is a partner.

Partners: the WSB Academy, the Olza Association for Development and Regional Cooperation, the Silesian University in Opava, Faculty of Management in Karviná
Implementation period: 09.2021 - 08.2023The overall objective of the project is to increase the level of development of cross-border cooperation in the Těšín Silesia Euroregion also in times of crisis caused by restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, using the existing long-term experience in cooperation of the project partners. Increasing the availability of cross-border information in the areas of economy, education, health and public life is crucial for the development of the region, not only in times of crisis. The project partners will develop a platform on which the basic statistics necessary for the further, uninterrupted development of the above-mentioned areas will be available. In the period of the pandemic it turned out how much there is a lack of this type of basic information, without the knowledge of which it is impossible to react properly to the changing needs of the development of the Cieszyn Silesia region.
