SOCIALLY and E-DUST projects co-financed under the Interreg V-A Poland-Slovakia Programme 2014-2020

We are very pleased to inform you that the Micro-projects Committee of the Interreg V-A Poland-Slovakia Programme 2014-2020 during its 8th meeting held on 02 July2021 approved for the WSB University funding for two more Interreg Poland-Slovakia micro-projects in the discipline of Pedagogy.


The projects:
"SOCIALLY - Specialist education of social workers and social assistance on the Polish-Slovak border in emergency situations, including COVID -19 pandemic" - coordinator Michał Szyszka, PhD.
The project is addressed to social workers and social assistance on the Polish-Slovak border. The aim of the micro-project is to improve the quality of education (specialist and professional) in the field of specialist training support for representatives of institutions and organizations carrying out the tasks of social assistance.

and

"E- DUST - Professional orientation in the Polish-Slovak border area in emergency situations, including COVID -19 pandemic". - Coordinator: Assoc. Prof. Marek Walancik, PhD. The general objective of the micro-project is to increase the level and quality of education in the field of vocational orientation, and consequently education (specialist and vocational), which will allow to shape the proper cross-border labour market on the Polish-Slovak border.
In both projects the partner is the Slovak town of Czadca. In total, the WSB Academy has obtained 63 123,60 € budget for these projects.


It is also worth mentioning that out of seven co-financed Polish projects in Priority Axis 3, two belong to the WSB Academy, and the SOCIALLY project was ranked 1st on the ranking list.

Each project will include training courses and a conference, in addition, on the basis of project activities will be created monographs written jointly with scientists from Slovakia.
