A virtual tour of WSB University

WSB University has introduced a new solution for students - 'University VR'. Thanks to this application, which uses VR virtual reality technology, it is possible to take a digital tour of the WSB University building. This state-of-the-art solution allows you to see in detail the layout of the rooms, corridors and infrastructure supporting people with disabilities. Importantly, the "VR University" can be used not only with VR goggles, but also via a regular Android smartphone.

"The VR University" is a virtual space that allows you to experience WSB University in an interactive and engaging way. The app allows you to select a navigation mode, whereby you can choose a destination and then follow the directions of the most optimal route calculated by the system. This is a very practical solution for people with disabilities. Thanks to the software, they can familiarise themselves with the university's infrastructure tailored to their needs.

- The VR university is another step towards developing new technologies in education. It is a solution that allows active participation in the education process. Thanks to this application, we can increase students' interest in learning, as well as make it easier for them to access information about WSB University,' says Zdzisława Dacko-Pikiewicz, Ph.D., Professor of AWSB - Rector of WSB University.

The WSB University app is an innovative solution that allows students to get a close look at the university building without having to be physically present on site. This allows those who are just preparing to study to get to know the university from anywhere in the world. Meanwhile, for students who are already studying at WSB University, it is a great opportunity to get to know their surroundings better and familiarise themselves with additional facilities. All the rooms in the building have been scanned using specialised software and 3D scanners to create an accurate virtual model of the university.

The VR University is not only a virtual space, but also a place where users can interact with staff avatars in key areas of the WSB University, such as the recruitment department, dean's office, rector's office or cashier's office. This makes it possible, for example, to remotely obtain information related to recruitment or get answers to questions related to the organisation of studies.
