Another project for WSB University from the Metropolitan Science Support Fund

At the end of February this year, another project agreement was signed within the framework of the Metropolitan Science Support Fund programme co-financed by the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis. This time, funding was awarded to a project in Area 2: Support for research. This is a new area in which it is possible to apply for funding for activities for scientists. As part of the project implementation, 7 WSB University scientists from various scientific disciplines will carry out, among other things, scientific research whose topics are related to the strategic objectives of the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis.

The project involves:

Dr Mariusz Raczek - "Creative metropolis - Perspectives for the development of the creative sector in the cities of the Upper Silesian Metropolis".
dr Krzysztof Wrana - "Intelligent metropolis: Smart city as an ecosystem for the development of Industry 4.0."
dr Grzegorz Kinelski - "Study on key factors of sustainable development of selected GZM cities in the Smart City perspective"
dr Sabina Ratajczak - "Digital leadership in universities - a research project"
dr Magdalena Kot-Radojewska - "Job crafting as a source of commitment and innovation for employees of enterprises in the GZM area"
dr inż. Iwona Krzyżewska - "Comparative analysis of servicing and repair costs for electric, hybrid and combustion engine cars"
Karol Jędrasiak, Ph.D. - "Development of a method for detecting fake nesws in the form of modified images".

The project received funding in the amount of PLN 209 598.00

The project 'Interdisciplinary research projects of WSB University academics' was co-financed by the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolitan Area as part of the 'Metropolitan Science Support Fund' programme from 2022 to 2024.
