Dr Konrad Łoś, assistant professor at the Faculty of Law at the WSB University, was appointed as an advisor to the National Centre for Research and Development in the category of members recommended and indicated by the scientific community. The ceremonial presentation of the act of appointment to the NCBR Council, on behalf of the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy - Grzegorz Puda, was made by Mr Jacek Żalek - Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, who chaired the Council's meeting until the election of its chairman. The handover took place on Thursday, 26 January 2023.
On the same day, during the Council meeting, the Council was constituted. The members of the body elected Prof. Dr. Marcin Jóźwik as Chairman of the Council. In turn, Konrad Łoś, Ph.D., was elected to two key committees: for strategic research and development programmes and, in a secret ballot, to the Appeals Committee. The NCRD Council, as an advisory and opinion-forming body, expresses its opinion in particular on the tasks of the State's scientific and innovation policy for the implementation of strategic research and development programmes.
The NCRD Council has 32 members, ten of whom are recommended by the scientific, socio-economic and financial circles respectively. In addition, the Council is supplemented by 12 representatives appointed by relevant ministers.
