COST Actions are flexible, fast efficient instruments that researchers, engineers and scientists can use to collaborate and coordinate on research funded by their respective research units. COST actions enable European researchers to jointly develop their ideas in all possible fields of science and technology.
COST is an EU-funded programme that enables researchers to build interdisciplinary research networks across Europe and beyond. COST provides funding to organise conferences, meetings, training courses, short scientific exchanges and other network-building activities related to a wide range of fields. By creating a space where both researchers and their ideas can flourish, it aims to realise the full potential offered by science. It is the longest-running funding mechanism of its kind for scientific relations in Europe.
