Dr Sabina Ratajczak participating in a panel discussion at Stanford University

Dr Sabina Ratajczak, Vice-Rector for Development at WSB University took part in a panel discussion on the digitalisation of Polish higher education. The discussion took place on 21.06.2023 as part of the US-POLAND SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM 2023. SECURITY, STABILITY, SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE conference at Stanford University in California.

Dr Ratajczak had the opportunity to present WSB University's achievements in the field of digital transformation and discuss the biggest challenges that accompany the digitisation process in the areas of teaching as well as university administration.

Digitalisation is one of the five strategic directions of development at WSB University. Over the past three years, the university has made a number of nationally pioneering IT implementations and high-tech applications. Examples of these initiatives include an advanced examination system with a proctoring mechanism, the implementation of e-services using low-code software, the launch of virtual laboratories, the implementation of virtual reality (VR) technology and programmes for advanced data analysis. Work is currently underway to implement electronic administrative workflows aimed at students as well as AWSB employees.

The activities undertaken by WSB University in the area of digitisation of both teaching and administrative processes have allowed the university to take a leading position among Polish higher education institutions. The innovative approach and the use of modern technologies have significantly improved the functioning of the university, positively influencing the quality of teaching and the comfort of students.

WSB University has for many years consistently pursued the strategic direction of Digital WSB. Our goal is to be a leader in the use of modern technologies in the areas of teaching, administration, research and development, in order to consistently improve the quality of services and develop the digital competences of students and university staff.
