More than 200 people attended the first meeting of the 'Patient's Club', held on Tuesday, 7 February, at WSB University. This is a joint initiative of the WSB University's Third Age University, the "With a Heart to the Patient" Foundation and American Heart of Poland. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the President of Dąbrowa Górnicza - Mr Marcin Bazylak.

The topic of the first meeting within the Patient Club in Dąbrowa Górnicza was atherosclerosis, healthy nutrition and free preventive programmes within the National Health Fund. During the meeting, the inhabitants of Dąbrowa Górnicza had the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures given by doctors, as well as to take advantage of free consultations with specialists and free examinations, such as blood pressure measurement.
The meeting was also attended by employees of the Silesian Voivodeship Branch of the National Health Fund, who talked about free preventive programmes.
The next meeting of the Patient Club in Dąbrowa Górnicza will take place on 18 May 2023.
