For many years WSB University has been implementing numerous projects, the recipients of which include members of student scientific circles operating at WSB University. Through the implementation of these projects, the University supports the development of innovation in science and helps shape the competences and skills of the participants.
WSB University received funding from the state budget as part of the Ministry of Education and Science's programme "Students' scientific circles create innovations" for a project entitled: "A model of rehabilitation of a child with a hearing implant based on telemedical services".
The overarching goal of the project is to create a telemedicine care model for a child with a cochlear implant, which will significantly reduce the need for personal visits to therapy centres and contribute to the continuation of the rehabilitation process and further speech development.
The project will include 5 stages, during which student members of the circle will be actively involved in the rehabilitation process of children with cochlear implants under the supervision of specialists. They will then develop the above-mentioned model of care on the basis of their observations.
Deadline for the project: 29.04.2023 r. - 28.04.2024 r.
Project number: SKN/SN/569666/2023
