Gala of awarding diplomas to graduates of first and second cycle studies – Kraków

The ceremony was inaugurated by Anna Kosiorowska - Vice-Dean of the Branch Faculty in Krakow of the WSB University, who welcomed the graduates and their families with the words:

"The ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates is always a great celebration and a very sublime event for the University. It is a great joy and honor for us to be able to celebrate this day together with you, with representatives of the academic community and with the people closest to you."

Congratulating the graduates on their diplomas, the Vice-Dean invited them to continue their education with words:

"Dear graduates, I congratulate you on your diploma, I wish you numerous scientific successes, the implementation of your plans and a lot of strength to take on new, creative challenges. I hope that this is only the beginning of your adventure with education, and the diploma you receive is only a passport to further development and acquiring new qualifications and acquiring new competences, but above all, to make your dreams come true. When entering the world, do it with self-confidence, courage and unwavering faith in your ability to change the world for the better."

Representatives of the Senate of the WSB University participated in the ceremony.

The diploma award gala is a special opportunity to award our graduates with awards for the best diploma theses and very high academic results. In the academic year 2023/2024, at the request of supervisors and reviewers, the Rector of the WSB University awarded the authors of 4 diploma theses. Distinctions for very good academic results were awarded to 1 graduate.

Distinction for the highest average among graduates of first- and second-cycle studies from Mrs. Anna Kosiorowska - Vice-Dean of the Branch Faculty in Krakow of the WSB University received:

• Mr. Ogtay Samadov, who will receive a distinction for both a high average in the field of Management and for the master thesis in the field of Management entitled „Managing Market Entry Strategies In Coca-Cola Company” written under the supervision of Marek Dziura, PhD.

The authors of the best diploma theses received awards from Mrs. Anna Kosiorowska - Vice-Dean of the Branch Faculty in Krakow of the WSB University.

• Ms. Fatima Baghirova for the master thesis in the field of Management entitled „Application and effectiveness of problem-solving tools in Japanese business management: A case study approach”, written under the supervision of Andrzej Raszkowski, PhD.
• Mr. Abdelkader Hebbri for the master thesis in the field of Management entitled „Success factors in Shopify dropshipping for novice entrepreneurs”, written under the supervision of Kinga Hoffmann-Burdzińska, PhD.
• Ms. Narimene Zouaghi for the master thesis in the field of Management entitled „E-commerce in Algeria, Case study Jumia group Algeria”, written under the supervision of Rui Alexandre Marçal Dias Castanho, PhD.

The ceremony was honored with an artistic performance by Mr. Solomon Kunle Omogbemi. A creative lecturer, musician, scientist and businessman from Nigeria. Master's degree in management and business, graduate of foreign universities in Nigeria and Estonia. He is currently working on a PhD at the WSB University focusing on corporate social responsibility, sustainable development and ethics.
