Postgraduate diplomas, awards and Rector's Awards. On Friday, 31 March, the WSB University hosted the Academic Gala of the Executive MBA, the Executive MBA for the Water Industry, the Master of Business Administration and the MBA in Healthcare.
The gala was inaugurated by:
dr hab. Marcin Lis, prof. AWSB - Pro-rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation with the Environment of WSB University,
Superintendent Roman Rabsztyn - Voivodeship Police Commander in Katowice,
Superintendent Sławomir Litwin - Voivodeship Police Commander in Łódź,
Superintendent Dariusz Matusiak - Voivodeship Police Commander in Rzeszów,
Mr Michał Błeszyński - representative of EY, partner of the MBA studies.
A special distinction, an officer's coronet from the Voivodeship Police Commander in Katowice, as a token of appreciation for cooperation, was awarded to Dr Marcin Lis, Professor at AWSB.
The award was presented by General Roman Rabsztyn - Voivodeship Police Commander in Katowice, General Sławomir Litwin - Voivodeship Police Commander in Łódź, General Dariusz Matusiak - Voivodeship Police Commander in Rzeszów.
RECTOR'S AWARDS
The Rector's award in the 'NATURAL LEADER' category for optimism, charisma and courage; inspiring and motivating others by their own example, encouraging them to take up challenges and infecting them with their energy, passion and ideas were awarded to:
Voivodeship Police Commander in Łódź - Superintendent Slawomir Litwin,
Voivodeship Commander of the Police in Rzeszów - Superintendent Dariusz Matusiak,
Voivodeship Police Commander in Katowice - Superintendent Roman Rabsztyn.
Each of the Commanders received a prize in the form of an invitation to an exclusive dinner.
The Rector's award in the category "STAROSTA OF THE YEAR" - for their inquisitive nature, search for new and creative solutions, and empathetic approach to challenges were awarded to:
Ms Mariola Hernas,
Mr Marcin Budzich.
The Older Students of the Year were awarded a co-drive in a Monster Truck.
The Rector's Award in the category 'AMBASSADOR IN THE PROTECTION OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION AND INTEGRATION OF THE MEDICAL ENVIRONMENT' went to Ms Joanna Andrzejewska. The award is a relaxing floating session
The Rector's award in the category "AMBASSADOR OF HEALTH POLICY" went to Ms Dominika Studnicka. The prize is a balloon flight over Krakow for two.
The Rector's award in the category "HEALTHY SPIRIT" went to Mr Artur Baranowski for his energy, zest for life, sincere smile, openness and passing on positive vibrations to others. The prize is a voucher for shooting with a Kalashnikov rifle.
During the gala, diplomas were handed out to postgraduates.
The gala ended with a performance by special guest - Mr Krzysztof Respondek.
