From 18-31 July this year WSB University is hosting more than 40 foreign students as part of the Silesian Sustainable Business Summer University. The summer school is a project implemented within the SPINAKER programme of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
Participants include students from over a dozen countries, including students from the USA, Ukraine, Belgium, UK, Georgia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Georgia, France, Lebanon, Turkey, Algeria, Italy, India and Indonesia from universities such as Greenwich University, Florida State University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Nottingham Trent University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, University of Lille, Baku Higher Oil School, The University of Brawijaya, University of Rome Tor Vergata, The Unuversity of Georgia, Lebanese American University, University of Szeged, Odesa National Economic University.
The stationary part of the summer school will culminate with Entrepreneurs for Tomorrow Night, which will take place at the Full Life Factory in Dąbrowa Górnicza on Friday 28 July at 5 p.m. It will be an opportunity to learn about sustainable business ideas developed by international teams of summer school participants. It will be a time to celebrate creativity, responsibility and entrepreneurial spirit.

The summer school is implemented in the blended learning formula in three stages (2 remote and 1 on-site).
Stage1 "Pre-Course" - with three specialist modules - a specialist module on responsible business, a module on design thinking method and presentation techniques and a specialist module on teamwork using technology.
Stage 2 "At WSB" - stationary realised at WSB University involving work in international teams (8 teams) in which, using the knowledge gained in the specialised modules, students will work on developing innovative business ideas referring to the principles of sustainable business and sustainable development goals. Workshop classes, meetings with sustainable business practitioners and a study visit to Raben Group, considered one of the most socially responsible companies according to the FOB ranking, are planned. Stage 3 "Post-Course" - in the form of tutoring involving the preparation of a written paper reflecting on participants' participation in the programme.
