Study visit to Sopra Steria

A presentation of development and training opportunities, meetings with project teams and a lecture. These were all elements of a study visit to Sopra Steria's headquarters in Katowice, attended by WSB University students. The visit took place on Friday, 10 March this year.

The study visit to Sopra Steria reinforces the practical nature of IT education for students. The aim of the study visits is to educate and improve students' professional competences corresponding to socio-economic needs and the expectations of employers in the labour market. Through participation in study visits, students will be able to acquire basic knowledge about the realities of working in the industry, which will make it easier for them to enter the labour market, prepare for the change to a job compatible with their field of study.

The study visit is financed by EU funds under the project "EduLider - development of WSB University for the region". The project "EduLider - development of WSB University for the region" which is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund, Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020, Priority Axis III.
