Aneta M. Kochanowicz PhD. from the Department of Pedagogy at WSB University attended The 17h International Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE) Assistive Technology: Shaping a sustainable and inclusive world in Paris at the University Paris 8-Vincennes-Saint-Denis, France, from 29 August to 2 September. Among the speakers from 64 countries: scientists, practitioners, politicians and entrepreneurs, she gave a lecture: The effectiveness of using eye-gaze assistive technology in the verification of diagnosis of children with profound intellectual disabilities in Poland - a case study, and participated in the AAATE General Assembly, during which the authorities were elected to the new Executive Board of the European Association dealing with issues in the field of technology and disability: assistive robots, universal design and assisted environment (UDL and ALL), virtual and augmented reality and eye-tracking technology.
