"POLAB An innovative method of Policy Lab education at the WSB University" - new project at the WSB University
WSB University has launched the project 'POLAB Innovative Policy Lab method of education at WSB Academy'. The main objective of this project is to prepare academic staff to apply the innovative Policy Lab method in the process of teaching students at the WSB University.
This innovative method places particular emphasis on developing a participatory approach, strategy-making skills and managing a variety of projects. It is also particularly important to be able to communicate with stakeholders and involve them in the active co-creation of various projects, up to the highest level of the so-called ladder of participation.
As part of the project, external experts have been invited to work with the project to prepare staff to teach using the Policy Lab method. In addition, they will prepare teaching materials to enable other academics who are interested in using this innovative method to learn about it.
The main result of the project will be the modernisation of teaching forms through the implementation of the innovative Policy Lab method of education by academic teachers. Thanks to the knowledge gained, teachers at the WSB University will develop their competences in the field of inclusive student education, which will contribute to an even better adaptation to contemporary educational challenges.
The project "POLAB Innovative educational method Policy Lab at the WSB University" has been funded by the Metropolis GZM as part of the 'Metropolitan Fund for the Support of Science' programme from 2022 to 2024.
