  • The main call for the Erasmus+ program in a given academic year is announced in January. If the university has additional funding under the program, an additional call is announced in July/August of the given academic year. Information about the recruitment is sent to students via email, published on the WSB University website and social media.

Students from WSB University who meet the following criteria can apply for a study or traineeship abroad through the Erasmus+ program:

    General recruitment rules

    1. Completion of at least 2 semesters of study
Students can take part in Erasmus+ mobility from third semester of Bachelor Studies or second semester of Master Studies at earliest.
    2. Minimum GPA requirement of 4.0
The Dean's Office is responsible for calculating the GPA and forwarding it to the International Cooperation Office. Only students with a GPA of 4.0 or higher will be considered for recruitment. Those who fall below this threshold are automatically disqualified from the selection process. In the case of a low number of applicants with a minimum GPA of 4.0, applications submitted by students with a GPA below 4.0 may be considered and selected.
    3. Proficiency in the language of instruction at a B2 level or higher
Applicants must demonstrate at least a B2 level of proficiency in the language of instruction at the partner university, which is typically English. Students who already possess a valid language certificate at or above this level are exempt from the language proficiency test. Otherwise, they must take the leveling test, which is the second stage of the recruitment process, conducted online via the Moodle platform.

The recruitment procedure consists of two stages:

    • Stage 1: Pre-selection of candidates based on formal requirements
    • Stage 2: Conducting language tests
    • Stage 3: Conducting online interviews (if necessary)

    Announcing results

Within 14 days of the completion of the process, the recruitment committee prepares a report on the qualification procedure along with a list of candidates selected for the mobility and waiting list.

    Appeal procedure

The student has the right to appeal the decision of the Admissions Committee within 7 days of the announcement of the results. For this purpose, the student is requested to contact the Academic Mobility Coordinator. The appeal will be reviewed by the Vice Rector for International Cooperation and the Deputy Dean for Internationalization.
