DOBA Faculty Hosts Productive VR4Skills Project Meeting - April 2024

In April 2024, DOBA convened an project meeting as part of the VR4Skills project—Comprehensive Training Framework for Leaders of Internationalization Enhanced by Virtual Reality (VR) in a Post-Pandemic Era.

Representatives from WSB University (Poland), Istanbul Aydin University (Turkey), UC Leuven-Limburg (Belgium), Avans University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), and the Businet network participated in this strategic meeting. The agenda focused on evaluating the project's progress and delineating forthcoming activities within the Erasmus+ KA2 framework.

Key discussions included:

  • Planning Future Multiplier Events: Strategizing upcoming events aimed at disseminating project outcomes and engaging a broader audience within the higher education sector.
  • Reviewing Pilot Training Feedback: Analyzing evaluations and participant feedback from recently conducted pilot training sessions to inform and enhance future training modules.
  • Implementing VR Training Environments: Addressing critical aspects of integrating VR technology into training, including reviewing and refining VR scenarios tailored for skill development among non-academic university staff.

The meeting was marked by productive collaboration, resulting in clear guidelines for the project's next phases. The collective expertise and shared commitment of the partners are instrumental in advancing the VR4Skills initiative. In the coming months, the consortium will continue to execute project activities, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange to ensure the successful realization of VR4Skills' objectives.
