Kick-Off Meeting - December 2022

On December 8, 2022, the inaugural meeting of the international VR4Skills project brought together partners from across Europe to officially launch this innovative initiative. The project aims to identify and address skill gaps among higher education professionals, leveraging cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) technology to enhance training and development.

The VR4Skills project, officially titled "Comprehensive Training Framework for Leaders of Internationalization Enhanced by Virtual Reality in a Post-Pandemic Era", focuses on equipping leaders in internationalization with the necessary competencies to navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving educational landscape.

Led by WSB University in Poland, the consortium includes esteemed partners such as DOBA Shool of Business (Slovenia), UC Leuven-Limburg (Belgium), Istanbul Aydin University (Turkey), Avans Business School (Netherlands), and the renowned Businet network. Together, these institutions bring a wealth of expertise and diverse perspectives to the initiative.

The project is co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education program. Through its innovative use of VR, VR4Skills seeks to foster collaboration, enhance leadership capabilities, and support the professional growth of academic staff in a post-pandemic context.

The kick-off meeting marked a significant milestone, setting the foundation for the successful implementation of this transformative project.
