Bachelor in Management - Psychology in Business

  • What will you learn?

    The specialisation is aimed at people who want to acquire knowledge and practical skills in psychological knowledge useful in the wider business world. The curriculum combines knowledge of psychology, marketing and management. During your studies, you have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in the areas of, among others:

    • general and social psychology,
    • psychological aspects of managing people,
    • assessing the conditions of human functioning in different organisational structures,
    • effective communication
    • organising teamwork
    • conflict resolution within an organisation and a specific team,
    • use of methodologies applied in occupational psychology,
    • techniques of exerting influence on others,
    • psychological mechanisms of influence of advertising on its recipients,
    • assessing the value and effectiveness of the impact of advertising messages.

    In addition, the graduate is aware of the application of current psychological knowledge in various spheres of human activity and is additionally characterised by a high level of professional awareness and responsibility.

  • PRACTICAL LEARNING

    Since we teach practically, as a graduate, you will be well-prepared to continue developing professionally in various types of enterprises, public organizations, financial institutions, consulting firms, advertising and PR agencies, for roles such as negotiators, communication and organizational managers, human resources managers, and specialists in marketing management, advertising, and PR.

    Specialization classes at the WSB University are taught by experienced practitioners. Thanks to this, students learn about current trends and the latest knowledge in the field. The specialization program is regularly consulted with business environment representatives, including employers. This ensures that the content provided within the specialization is up-to-date and meets the needs of the job market. Additionally, the University regularly organizes so-called "meetings with practitioners," giving students the opportunity to meet interesting people who passionately talk about their work.
