Candidates should provide the following:
- International Passport (internal ID card is not accepted).
- High School Diploma/Certificate or Diploma from professional College, or previously received Bachelors Diploma for application for First Cycle of Studies, or,
BA or MA degree in case of application for Second Cycle of studies or MBA. Please remember that all of the above have to have their official transcript of records attached. Student copies or Drafts cannot and will not be accepted.
- Document from the Ministry of Education confirming the validity of the High School or College diploma.
- If your documents are issued in languages other than Polish or English they must be translated by a sworn translator. Documents translated into Polish need to be approved by the Polish embassy (an official stamp is enough). Translation into Polish is preferred by WSBU as it will significantly help in the future Validation of the High School degree (more on it you can find under the Legalisation, Apostille and Validation section).
- Documents issued in the specified region must be Double or Triple Legalised (more on this in the Legalisation, Apostille and Validation section). You can inquire where this confirmation can be obtained in your governmental offices. The last legalisation is to be done in the Embassy of Poland. Without Apostille or Legalisation your documents will not be considered for further admission. Remember that all stamps and writings on the Legalisation have to be translated as well!
- Insurance which covers your stay on the territory of Poland for the duration of your studies (can be renewed several times). Candidates who are working in Poland under the Employment agreement are most probably insured by the company. This insurance is accepted by WSBU and can be obtained in the HR office (Kadry) of your place of work.
- Passport size photo no older than 3 months. It is required to have it in both Electronic and physical versions.
As decided by the Ministry of Education in Poland an overall minimum grade has to be obtained by the candidates from the specified region. More can be found on the official NAWA website:
