WSB University representatives at EnterCBL International Bootcamp on Sustainable Urban Living

From April 23rd to 26th, 2025, WSB University proudly participated in the EnterCBL Student Bootcamp hosted by Istanbul Aydın University in Istanbul, Turkey. This significant event brought together students, academic staff, and experts from various European higher education institutions to engage in an intensive, innovative learning experience. The big group of WSB University students were also participating. The present representatives from WSB University were Paweł Urgacz, Deputy Dean for Internationalization and Denis Spahija, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office.

The core focus of the bootcamp was sustainable urban living, a topic of increasing global importance. Students worked in international, interdisciplinary teams to address real-world challenges related to sustainability, urbanization, and community development. Through collaborative efforts, participants designed innovative, practical solutions that reflect the pressing needs of modern urban environments.

The bootcamp utilized the Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) methodology, a cutting-edge educational approach that places students at the center of the learning process. By identifying challenges, conducting extensive research, and developing actionable solutions, students cultivate critical entrepreneurial, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Challenge-Based Learning is a fundamental pillar of the EnterCBL project, which aims to advance innovative pedagogies in entrepreneurship education across Europe.

WSB University’s active engagement in the EnterCBL project reaffirms its commitment to educational excellence, international cooperation, and the development of forward-thinking, socially responsible graduates. By integrating modern, experiential learning methodologies such as CBL into our academic activities, WSB University continues to prepare its students to become proactive leaders in a rapidly changing world.
