CReative University Sustainability Hub 2026
CReative University Sustainability Hub 2026 (CRUSH) is a business idea competition focused on innovative solutions for sustainable business. It brings together Polish and international students in one learning-and-creation experience where participants build the competences of a future-oriented, sustainability-driven entrepreneur.
The programme is aligned primarily with Sustainable Development Goals reflecting the profile of WSB University’s English-taught practical degree programmes in Management, International Business and Computer Science. Through an intensive, hands-on pathway, students learn how to transform sustainability challenges into viable business opportunities and how to design solutions that combine impact with feasibility.
CRUSH uses practical methods that WSB University applies in its English-taught programmes. Participants work with design thinking, customer development, lean startup, business modelling and storytelling, supported by mentors and international experts. Teams develop sustainable business ideas, business models and early-stage prototypes, and learn how to validate assumptions with users and communicate their concepts in a convincing way.
The competition is delivered in a hybrid format. It begins with three online preparatory workshop days led by international experts together with WSB University staff. It then continues with four intensive onsite workshop days at WSB University, where students work in international teams under mentor guidance. The programme ends with a final onsite event where teams present their results and are evaluated by an international expert jury.
Funding: CRUSH is implemented as part of internationalisation activities supported by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Welcome to Poland programme.
