Support for people with special needs
The Centre for Persons with Special Needs (COSP) was established as part of the project “Development, Education, Science without Barriers. WSB Academy – Accessible and Supportive for All Stakeholders.”
Our Mission
COSP supports accessibility and inclusion for all members of the academic community. Our mission is to create a friendly, welcoming environment where everyone—regardless of the challenges they face—can fully participate in university life.
Who We Support
COSP is dedicated to:
Architectural Accessibility
We work to ensure that university spaces are fully adapted, accessible, and functional for all stakeholders.
Information and Communication Accessibility
We strive to make information more accessible—both in direct contact and online. We develop materials tailored to the diverse needs of our academic community.
Digital Accessibility
We continuously adapt the University’s websites to comply with accessibility standards (WCAG), making them more usable for persons with special needs.
Assistive Technologies
We provide modern technological solutions that support learning and teaching processes. These tools address the varied needs of our university community.
Educational Support
We offer assistance at every stage of education and research. Our activities are tailored to individual needs. We are continuously updating our catalogue of services and developing new support initiatives.
Training and Awareness
We organize training sessions for teaching and administrative staff to enhance their competencies in working with individuals with special needs. This helps foster a more open, inclusive academic community.
