Individual Organization of Studies (IOS) at WSB University

Individual Organization of Studies (IOS) is a form of support offered to WSB University students, which allows for the adjustment of the course of education to the individual needs and possibilities of the student.

The IOS terms can be granted, among others, to students:

  • with a disability,
  • studying in more than one field at the same time,
  • combining education with professional work,
  • who are in a difficult life situation,
  • fulfilling parental or caring responsibilities.

The IOS entitles the student to:

  • modify the dates of end-of-term tests, exams and classes,
  • determine the manner of participation in classes individually,
  • plan the course of studies in consultation with course teachers and programme tutor flexibly

The IOS obliges the student to:

  • achieve all learning outcomes provided for in the study programme,
  • perform agreed learning duties on time,
  • maintain constant contact with course teachers and tutors in matters related to the course of study.

An application for an Individual Organization of Studies must be submitted to the dean's office of your faculty in accordance with the rules set out in the WSB University Regulations.
