The club members have prepared a wonderful set of presentations and games and have made a wonderful work in welcoming the incomers with some warm embraces and tasty Polish snacks. Useful information was explained and the most popular travel destinations were shared.

  • Erasmus+ in Wrocław - 16.10.2021

Student life in WSBU is never boring!

Recently the club members, together with our Erasmus students of academic year 2021/2022 all went for a trip to Wroclaw, the city which is sometimes called the Venice of the North due to the large amounts of rivers, canals and tributaries of the Odra River, Oława River, Ślęza River, Widawa River and Bystrzyca River.

Showing Poland to our International friends proved to be an amazing experience where everyone learned something new about the country they live in, and the countries they came from, making our world just a little bit bigger and kinder.

Lot's of memories were made during the integration trip, and we hope for many more to come in the future!

  • Between Poland and Belarus - Collecting the Necessities

The situation on the border between Poland and Belarus is a complicated political matter. The members of the WSBU Erasmus Club decided to forgo the reasons as to who, what and why and simply help to those who got stranded out there in the freezing temperatures.

The collection of the base necessities will commence from the 09.11.2021 up until 29.11.2021. All the things will, then, be passed on to the Red Cross which will make sure to give it to those in need.

Situations can be different but if help can be offered - then we should do our best to do it.

  • Andrzejki Magic Night - 29.11.2021

Andrzejki is a long standing tradition of devination in Poland, a night full of wizardry and predictions for the future.

This year WSB University decided to share this tradition with our international students from all over the world, and show them some of the rituals conducted by the Polish nationals. The representatives of Erasmus Club of WSBU did their very best and prepared a night full of fun activities with a nice game of hide and seek to finish up the event.

A big thank you to everyone who came and see you all next year for the second edition of this holiday!

  • Christmas with the Erasmus - 03.12.2021

Christmas is a very special holiday in Poland!

Families sit down together to enjoy some good food and good mood during those cold, snowy evenings. And while Christmas is not celebrated in the whole world; Family, Friends and Companionship are the things that are universally desired.

And this is what we hope to share with our international students! The warmth of family gatherings in a home, far away from home.

For some of our Erasmus friends this was the last event. But while they were here just for a short period of time they have become our good friends and the Club would not be the same without them!

The world is small - we will see you sooner or later, one way or another!

  • Erasmus x Poznań

For the Spring semester our club decided to take our Erasmus students to wonderful Poznań.
It’s known for universities as well as its old town, with Renaissance-style buildings in Old Market Square.

Several days of exploring and fun is the best way to start the semester right!

Thank you to our club for the preparation and see you soon!
