The Centre for Research on Cross-border Security

The Centre for Research on Cross-border Security in Cieszyn is a research, analytical, didactic and training unit, constituting a platform for exchange of views, opinions, research results and experiences of scientists and experts, who may contribute to increasing knowledge on threats to cross-border security and possibilities to counteract them.

The Centre’s mission is reflected in the forms of its activity:

• organization of scientific conferences, discussion panels, open lectures and talks;
• preparation of scientific and popular science publications;
• open meetings with experts;
• preparing expert opinions and analyses for the needs of government and self-government institutions, state services and enterprises operating in the sphere of security;
• conducting training and didactic activity.
