Nina Turčin serves as a Project Coordinator and Academic Advisor at DOBA Business School. With extensive experience in online learning, she supports educators in designing online and blended courses and provides guidance to students throughout their studies. Nina also coordinates international projects and oversees Erasmus programs, having received the Apple of Quality award for excellence in Erasmus+ projects in higher education. As a co-chair of the Internationalisation@home working group within the Businet network, she actively contributes to international academic collaboration. Nina holds a degree in Cultural Studies and Anthropology and has completed the ePROFMAN joint program in Innovative Management, Leadership, and Strategic Communication.
Ayse is an international education Professional of 17 years, with previous experience in the higher education sector as lecturer. She has worked in many areas of international education (Erasmus, exchange and summer programs, international marketing and recruitment, lecturing and managing services for international students). She is focusing on global education and partnerships in her current role at Istanbul Aydin University. She is also the coordinator for the EURIE Eurasia Higher Education Summit conference. She delivers trainings/ workhops for international office staff in the areas of internationalization strategy, internationalization at home, trends in internationalization and intercultural competences. Her experience and interests in higher education management also cover the areas of strategic planning, quality assurance, and international project management.
Lucius Botes is a distinguished academic and researcher affiliated with North-West University (NWU) in South Africa. He has made significant contributions to the fields of community development, social justice, and rural development. Botes' academic career spans decades, during which he has focused on addressing socio-economic challenges in South Africa, with particular emphasis on empowering marginalized communities.
He has held various leadership positions at NWU, including roles within research institutes and administrative bodies. His work often intersects with government policies and development agencies, aiming to bridge the gap between academia and practical solutions for societal challenges.
Lucius Botes is known for his interdisciplinary approach, bringing together insights from sociology, economics, and political science to inform community-driven development strategies. His research often explores the dynamics of participatory development, governance, and social inclusion, making him a key figure in South Africa's academic and development landscape.
His work continues to influence policy and practice in the areas of sustainable development and community empowerment, both in South Africa and internationally.
An academic at WSB University, Director of the Transfer and Information Center at WSB University, educator and manager, and author of 69 scientific publications, including three academic monographs. An expert for the Regional Operational Program of the Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020, a member of the Steering Committee of the Sectoral GameINN Program, and a member of the Image Processing Society. For his scientific and organizational achievements, he has been honored with 10 awards in recent years, granted by national and international institutions. A specialist in computer vision, computer graphics, artificial intelligence tools, and the development of IT, database, and sensor systems. He is currently the CEO of VRTechnology, a company focused on developing data analysis algorithms and commercializing innovative solutions in the field of virtual reality technologies, as well as professional simulation and training systems.
Paweł Urgacz is a academic and expert affiliated with WSB University in Poland, where he holds a position of Deputy Dean for Internationalization. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing and developing international partnerships, collaborations, and programs that enhance the university's global engagement. His work focuses on fostering cross-border academic exchanges, building relationships with international institutions, and promoting the university’s reputation abroad. His leadership in internationalization has contributed significantly to WSB University's growing global presence, helping to create opportunities for students and faculty to engage in international academic and professional experiences.
