Continuous Professional Development for Academic Staff

The WSB University has launched the Program for the Development of Teaching Competencies of research and teaching staff.  The program consists of internal and external trainings, including those taken at  the best foreign educational centres, e.g. at Aalborg University in Denmark  - one of the best European technical universities, specializing in the Problem Based learning method.

 

Demand for a specific training or thematic and general development courses can also be reported to the WSB University methodologist

THE SCHOOL OF GAMIFICATION AT AWSB

The Gamification School is a series of workshops preparing teachers to use the gamification mechanism in their classes, which allows to increase student involvement and increase the effectiveness of classes. As part of the school, teachers learn about the types of games and active forms of classes in practice, the principles of game design and their implementation into classes.
