During your studies, you will not only gain knowledge and competences related to cloud services, but you will also meet various interesting people from the IT industry - and perhaps your future employer as well - thanks to numerous study visits and meetings with practitioners that we regularly organize throughout the study cycle. You will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice thanks to individual and group projects, workshops, trainings and hackathons, together with cooperation of the WSB University with industry-renowned companies such as Fujitsu, IBM, AWS or Microsoft etc., which will enable you to learn about the latest trends in the IT area.

At WSB University, we know how important technical skills combined with soft skills are in today’s world. We educate graduates who are ready to take on challenges and are not afraid of them. In such, in addition to the subjects that shape typical engineering skillset, we also took care of equipping our alumni with competences that allow them to find themselves in the increasingly demanding and shifting labour market. Thanks to Design Thinking and Problem Based Learning workshops, you will learn how to solve problems creatively, and classes related to the implementation of IT projects will prepare you for the real challenges faced by engineers working mainly with projects and design.

Program curriculum

Selected content of the study program

Bachelor degree in IT (7 semesters with an engineer title):

Selected basic content: mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, basics of computer science, algorithms and data structures.

Selected major content: databases, software engineering, methods of artificial intelligence, operating systems, computer networks.

Content within the specialization: virtualized infrastructure management, databases for mobile devices with NoRel elements, network operating systems, architecture of cloud computing systems, architecture of mobile devices and mobile operating systems, programming languages for cloud systems, construction of graphic interfaces.

Our study program is regularly consulted with representatives of the business environment - including employers of the largest companies in the IT industry, so you can be sure that after graduating from it, you will gain knowledge, skills and competences that are a guarantee of success on the labour market.

We also regularly ask students of last semesters and our graduates what they specifically liked and disliked about the study program. Through such activities, we not only adjust the didactic offer to the needs of our students, but also give them a real influence and participation in shaping the program.

These activities bring visible results, as the engineering study program for the IT major has received the prestigious accreditation of the Accreditation Committee of Technical Universities (KAUT), and the EUR-ACE Label - an international quality certificate awarded to engineering programs. We are the second private university in the country that managed to obtain KAUT and EUR-ACE certificates for the engineering faculty.

This accreditation is received for the longest possible period, i.e. 5 years (until February 2026) - which confirms that studying Computer Science at the WSB Academy is the best possible choice for you.

Practical education

You will be taught by certified experts, such as Cisco, Amazon Web Services or Microsoft. Thanks to them, after your studies you will obtain industry-recognized certificates, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. We work with the best - lectures, exercises, trainings and workshops are conducted by representatives of companies such as Microsoft, Fujitsu, IBM, Netology, CloudTeam, VRTechnology and many others. During our meetings with practitioners, you will be able to personally meet and talk to interesting people and experts who will talk about their work with passion.
