Graduates of the Computer Science & IT in Management program emerge with a unique hybrid profile. They are prepared for a broad spectrum of careers at the nexus of technology and business. Typical positions include IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Software Architect, Database Administrator, Security Analyst, or Data Analyst.
According to official descriptions, WSB alumni can work “as creative developers… specialists in a wide range of positions available on the IT job market, including programmer, software engineer, database specialist, data analyst, business analyst, software architect, team/project manager, administrator”.
In practice, graduates have found roles in multinational IT firms, financial services, consulting, manufacturing, logistics, and e-commerce companies – anywhere that leverages technology.
Thanks to its international focus, the program also opens global opportunities. Many students participate in Erasmus+ or take internships abroad. Others pursue postgraduate studies; WSB even offers a Master’s in Management (and has an active International Doctoral Academy) for those aiming to do research. The blend of IT and management means graduates can easily cross over: some become startup founders or product managers, while others take leadership roles in IT departments.
In comparison to more narrowly technical programs (like AGH’s Computer Science & Intelligent Systems) or purely managerial programs, WSB graduates stand out for their integrated skill set – they understand algorithms and AI but also the business models and strategy that drive innovation.
