The 9th International Scientific Conference "Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Theory and Practice" - summary

On 18 - 19 December, the WSB Academy hosted the 9th International Scientific Conference "Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Theory and Practice', organised in an online format within the programme of the Minister of Education and Science called 'Social Responsibility of Science / Excellent Science, Module: Excellent Science - Support for scientific conferences'.

The first day of the conference was devoted to issues such as digitisation, artificial intelligence and changes affecting the development of modern entrepreneurship.

The assembled guests and conference participants were welcomed by Prof. Marcin Lis, Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation with the Environment.

 

Speakers who graced the conference proceedings included:

  • Wojciech Muras, Ph.D., Vice President of the Management Board of Net-o-logy,
  • Prof. Dr. Wojciech Czakon, Jagiellonian University,
  • Prof. Heinz D. Kurz, University of Graz,
  • Dr. Sabina Ratajczak, Vice-Chancellor for Development, WSB Academy,
  • Natanya Meyer, College of Business and Economics Johannesburg.

 

Two expert debates were held on the first day.

First debate: 'Smart City - innovative city and region management'.

Moderator: Prof. Marcin Lis, Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Outreach.
