Urban Transitions 2022 with WSB University representatives
On November 8-10, WSB University researchers participated in a conference entitled Urban Transitions 2022 Integrating Urban and Transport Planning. Environment and Health doe Healthier Urban Living. The conference organized by Elsevier was held in Barcelona.
Representatives of WSB University were Prof. Zbigniew Makiela, Karolina Mucha-Kuś, PhD, and Grzegorz Kinelski, PhD.
Prof. Makiela presented the research results of an interdisciplinary grant entitled: "Competencies of the Katowice Special Economic Zone in shaping coherent elements of sustainable development - economic growth, social inclusiveness and environmental protection."
Urban Transitions 2022 aims to promote healthy urban development by bringing together different disciplines working within cities including world leading experts on urban and transport planning, architecture, environmental exposures, physical activity, and public health and governance to discuss current challenges and solutions.
