A New Stage in the Professional Journey of Young Medical Practitioners

A ceremony at which licences to practise were presented to physicians and dental practitioners - his year’s graduates of medical universities - was held at the headquarters of the Silesian Chamber of Physicians and Dentists in Katowice.

The ceremony was presided over by Przemysław Rosak, MD, PhD, President of the District Medical Council in Katowice. WSB University was represented at the ceremony by Professor Marcin Lis, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation with the External Environment at WSB University.

The presentation of documents confirming the right to practise marked the symbolic beginning of a new stage in the young medical practitioners’ professional careers.

The ceremony represented not only the graduates’ formal admission to the professions of physician and dental practitioner, but also an opportunity to emphasise the responsibility, professional ethos and special mission associated with practising the medical professions.

This was an important moment for those beginning their professional journey in healthcare, as they now face further challenges related to developing their competencies, gaining experience and serving patients.

Through its Collegium Medicum, WSB University educates future medical professionals, combining academic knowledge with practical preparation for work in the rapidly developing healthcare sector.
