Future lawyers in the place where law is made. Students of WSB University accepted an invitation from MP Mateusz Bochenek and visited the Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Alongside the Law students, the study visit was also attended by laureates of the “Golden Indexes.”
Behind the Scenes of Parliamentary Work
The main point of the program was a tour of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland building. The visit allowed participants to gain behind-the-scenes insight into the functioning of the country’s most important legislative body. A unique element of the meeting was a direct conversation with MP Mateusz Bochenek, who introduced students to the specifics of a parliamentarian’s work and answered numerous questions during an open discussion session.
Theory in Practice
Participants had a unique opportunity to confront the theoretical knowledge acquired during lectures with the reality of public institutions. Direct contact with the legislative environment, as well as the possibility of visiting places not normally accessible to citizens, allowed students to better understand the mechanisms of law-making and the specifics of public life.
