Academic MBA Gala – the culmination of the journey of leaders and managers

There are events that require few words, because their meaning is visible in the emotions, relationships, and the journey undertaken by the participants. The Academic MBA Gala was precisely one of them.

The ceremony brought together Graduates, lecturers, business partners, and loved ones, creating a unique space to celebrate the completion of studies and to reflect on an intensive path of development.

The event was attended by representatives of the University authorities and MBA program partners:

• Prof. Marcin Lis – Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation with the Academic Environment at WSB University 
• Michał Błeszyński – Director of EY Academy of Business 
• Michał Dziekoński – Rector’s Plenipotentiary for the MBA Club 
• Dr. Eng. Karol Jędrasiak – Director of the Technology Transfer Center at WSB University 

The central point of the gala was the awarding of MBA graduation diplomas. Graduates received them within programs delivered in cooperation with recognized national and international partners:

• Executive MBA (partner: EY Academy of Business, Politecnico di Milano) 
• Executive MBA for the water utility sector 
• Master of Business Administration (partner: EY Academy of Business) 
• MBA in Healthcare (partner: EY Academy of Business, Silesian Medical Chamber in Katowice) 

The ceremony was not only a formal confirmation of the qualifications obtained, but above all a summary of the work carried out on implementation projects. During their studies, participants developed and implemented solutions in areas such as strategic management, finance, HR, marketing, and quality management—often directly within the organizations in which they hold managerial roles on a daily basis.

The Academic MBA Gala once again confirmed that studying at WSB University is not only about acquiring knowledge, but above all about developing leadership competencies, building networks of relationships, and making a real impact on the business environment.
