A scientific article by Prof. Tomasz Safjański from WSB University has been recognized as the best publication of 2025 in the journal “Pro Publico Bono” and distinguished by the Rector-Commandant of the Fire University.
The awarded study, entitled “Arson as part of influence operations of the Russian Federation as a threat to public safety,” addresses the current and complex issue of threats resulting from hybrid activities, analyzing them in the context of state security.
The publication also includes partial results of research conducted at WSB University as part of a project devoted to the determinants of contemporary diversionary activities and the state’s defense preparations.
The research is carried out by the Center for Research Methodology in Security Sciences and the Center for Cross-Border Security Research of WSB University, which highlights its interdisciplinary and practical nature.
