A decision has been issued by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA): the Management degree program offered at the Faculty of Akademia WSB in Olkusz has received a positive evaluation with no recommendations or conditions. The Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee confirmed that the program fully meets all required educational standards.
The decision is based on Resolution No. 60/2026 of the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee (PPKA) dated 29 January 2026, which confirms the high standard of education and scientific research conducted at Akademia WSB. According to the resolution, the next program evaluation of the Management program at the Olkusz branch will take place no earlier than the 2031/2032 academic year, underscoring the stability and secure long-term operation of the program.
In its justification, the Committee emphasized that the educational process enables students to achieve all intended learning outcomes and that all criteria specified in the relevant legal regulations have been fully met. The positive evaluation reflects a comprehensive analysis of, among other elements: the curriculum and study program, the organization of the teaching process, methods used to verify learning outcomes, the qualifications and competencies of the academic staff, and cooperation with the social and economic environment.
The decision also confirms that the program complies with the requirements of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education as well as the quality assurance standards adopted by the Polish Accreditation Committee.
The Management program at the Akademia WSB branch in Olkusz is delivered with a practical profile, meaning that its curriculum is closely aligned with real labor-market needs. Students develop managerial, analytical, and organizational competencies while acquiring the knowledge and skills required in modern business and public administration. The PKA evaluation confirms that the program maintains a high academic and organizational standard.
In the post-visit report, members of the Polish Accreditation Committee also highlighted a number of positive factors and good practices implemented at Akademia WSB. Among them was the internationalization of the program, supported by what the report described as “the significant scale of international contacts maintained by Akademia WSB.” Particular recognition was given to the “wide range of short-term ‘internationalization at home’ programs.”
The report also emphasized the durability and repeatability of this solution, as well as its organizational and substantive benefits for students.
A positive resolution from the Polish Accreditation Committee represents one of the most important confirmations of quality in the Polish higher-education system- and once again Akademia WSB has demonstrated that quality.

It is also worth recalling that in 2024, Akademia WSB became the first and only university in Poland to receive the Polish Accreditation Committee’s Certificate of Excellence in Education for the Management program- both: the first-cycle (Bachelor’s) program with a practical profile, and the second-cycle (Master’s) program with a general academic profile.
