The WSB University (Akademia WSB) has established a new partnership with the Centre for Vocational and Continuing Education in Jaworzno (Centrum Kształcenia Zawodowego i Ustawicznego w Jaworznie- CKZiU). Under the agreement, the University has assumed academic patronage over a a class with a logistics technician profile, opening new educational opportunities for students and strengthening cooperation between secondary and higher education.
The partnership agreement was signed on 25 February 2026. Its primary objective is to support the development of students’ competencies, particularly in the fields of logistics and modern process management, while fostering long-term collaboration between the two institutions.
As part of the patronage, CKZiU students will gain access to selected lectures, workshops, and academic events organized by WSB University. These activities are designed to introduce young people to the academic environment and help them better understand potential educational and career paths in logistics and related areas of management.
The partnership also envisages a range of joint educational initiatives, including events that popularize science and projects aimed at developing practical skills and professional competencies among students.
The agreement was signed on behalf of CKZiU by Simona Smugowska, Director of the Centre for Vocational and Continuing Education in Jaworzno. Representing WSB University was Prof. Zdzisława Dacko-Pikiewicz, Rector of the institution. The signing ceremony was also attended by Bożena Garbocz, Vice-Dean for Development at WSB University.
By joining the network of schools operating under the university’s patronage, CKZiU in Jaworzno becomes part of a broader initiative aimed at strengthening links between secondary education and higher education, enabling students to explore academic life earlier and develop competencies aligned with the needs of the modern labor market.
