Dąbrowski Half Marathon

The 15th Arcelor Mittal Dabrowa Jubilee Half Marathon took place in Dabrowa Górnicza on Sunday, 16 April. More than 1,000 runners took part in the event, including the reliable AWSB Running Team consisting of: Adriana Machalica (Coordinator of MBA Studies), Robert Socha (Professor at WSB University, Director of ACEAH), Paweł Urgacz (Director of International Relations) and Andrzej Kaszubski (Marketing Director).

The run started from under the Sports and Entertainment Hall in Heller Park, at 10 a.m. A new route was mapped out this year, leading through the city centre, the newly built tunnel and the Green Park. The most picturesque part of the route was undoubtedly the one surrounding Pogoria IV and III.

The weather was favourable for the participants - the spring sunshine gave energy, resulting in a personal best in our Team (congratulations to Adriana Machalica!).
