Diplomas, Distinctions and New Professional Opportunities

There were diplomas, applause, emotions, and moments that symbolically marked the beginning of a new chapter in many professional careers. WSB University hosted the Postgraduate and MBA Academic Gala - a special gathering of graduates, academic staff, University partners, and representatives of institutions and organisations cooperating with WSB University.

The event was opened by Prof. Marcin Lis, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and External Relations.

During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to professionals who had developed their competencies in the fields of management, MBA programmes, finance and accounting, HR, coaching, education, law, mediation, logistics, rail transport, new technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection, and occupational health and safety.

The Gala provided an opportunity to reflect on months of intensive study, project work, and the exchange of experience with industry practitioners. Among the invited guests were academic staff from WSB University and representatives of partner organisations with whom the University delivers postgraduate programmes, including EY Academy of Business and TÜV Nord Polska.

A particularly important part of the ceremony was the presentation of the Rector of WSB University Distinctions, awarded for outstanding activity, the high quality of completed projects, and attitudes that went beyond the standard requirements of the programmes.

The distinctions included:

• an award for the high quality of implementation projects in the areas of HR, finance, marketing, quality management, and project management, prepared by graduates of the Master of Business Administration programme;
• a distinction for the project team working within the Managerial Postgraduate Studies – MBA Level programme;
• distinctions for graduates of the Professional Coaching Academy in recognition of their exceptional commitment and active participation during classes;
• the Helping Hand Award for effectively representing the interests of the group, applying a creative approach to solving challenges, and fostering a positive atmosphere;
• the Mind of the Year Award for perseverance, diligence, determination, and outstanding academic achievements throughout the programme;
• the Style and Elegance Award for individuality, authenticity, and exceptional class;
• a special distinction for Tomasz Gzel, university lecturer, in recognition of his many years of cooperation with WSB University, his commitment to teaching, and his significant contribution to the University's development.

Postgraduate and MBA programmes at WSB University provide an environment for individuals who wish to consciously develop their careers, strengthen their competencies, and respond to the real needs of a rapidly changing labour market. This year's Gala demonstrated that behind every diploma stand meaningful decisions, perseverance, and the courage to strive for more.
