Erasmus+ Orientation Week 2026

At the end of September, WSB University welcomed its new international exchange students during Erasmus+ Orientation Week 2026. Students from Algeria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and Turkey joined us for several days of integration, cultural discovery and exciting experiences.

  • 28 September – Welcome Meeting and Team-Building Activities
Orientation Week began with a welcome meeting at WSB University. Students took part in a fun Bingo Game, which helped them get to know one another, discover shared interests and start building new friendships. Team-building activities encouraged cooperation, communication and a friendly atmosphere, helping students feel more comfortable as they began their exchange experience in Poland.
  • 29 September – Discovering the Silesian Museum
On the second day, students visited the Silesian Museum in Katowice. The visit offered an opportunity to learn more about the history, culture and heritage of the Silesian region and to discover an important cultural attraction in their new surroundings.
  • 30 September – A Day Trip to Kraków
The final day of Orientation Week took students to Kraków, travelling together by train. Once there, they enjoyed a sightseeing tour in electric carts, discovering the city's historic streets and landmarks in a fun and memorable way. The trip was a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Poland's most famous cities and spend time together before the start of the academic semester.

We hope that this Orientation Week has laid the foundation for lasting friendships, cultural exchange and unforgettable memories. We wish all our incoming Erasmus+ students a successful semester, exciting discoveries and a fantastic stay in Poland!
