Diversionary activities and sabotage are real threats that the state must be prepared to confront. These issues were the focus of a training session held on 18 June at the headquarters of the State Protection Service (SOP).
The training for SOP officers was conducted by experts from WSB University: Prof. Bernard Wiśniewski, Director of the Centre for Research Methodology in Security Sciences at WSB University, and Prof. Tomasz Safjański, Associate Professor at WSB University and Deputy Director of the Centre for Cross-Border Security Research at WSB University.
The training was based on the findings of the research project entitled “Determinants of Contemporary Diversionary Activities in the Context of National Defence Preparations”, carried out at WSB University. The research is being conducted jointly by the Centre for Research Methodology in Security Sciences and the Centre for Cross-Border Security Research at WSB University. As a result, the most up-to-date scientific knowledge was applied to address the needs of the formation responsible for protecting the most important persons and facilities in Poland.
The meeting was attended by officers of the State Protection Service, including selected members of its senior management staff.
