Farewell to Rev. Prof. Marian Walerian Nowak

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rev. Prof. Marian Walerian Nowak (1955–2025) on 16 August 2025.

Rev. Prof. Nowak was a long-standing member of the Committee on Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, a member of the first term of the Council for Scientific Excellence, and a longtime academic staff member at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He was a highly respected scholar, a dedicated lecturer to generations of educators, and the author of numerous scientific publications.

With the passing of Rev. Professor, Polish pedagogy has suffered a significant loss.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Professor Nowak for his years of collaboration with WSB University and for his steadfast presence at the academic meetings organized by the University.
