Fundusz Górnośląski S.A. (Upper Silesian Fund S.A.) and WSB University Launch Cooperation

Fundusz Górnośląski S.A. (Upper Silesian Fund S.A.) and WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza have signed two agreements that open up new opportunities for cooperation between academia and business.

The documents were signed by Mateusz Rykała, President of the Management Board of Fundusz Górnośląski S.A., Agnieszka Siemińska, Vice-President of the Management Board, and Prof. Zdzisława Dacko-Pikiewicz, Rector of WSB University.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of WSB University, including Prof. Marcin Lis, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation with the External Environment.

The cooperation agreement covers the implementation of joint educational, scientific, and research and development initiatives, the organisation of conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as cooperation with the Academic Career Office.

An agreement concerning professional and diploma internships was also signed. WSB University students will have the opportunity to gain experience within the structures of Fundusz Górnośląski S.A., benefiting from the professional expertise and support of its employees. During the meeting, the parties also discussed areas of cooperation in the implementation of joint national and European projects.

The partnership will combine the experience of Fundusz Górnośląski S.A. in supporting entrepreneurs and developing international cooperation with the scientific, educational, and research potential of WSB University.

The cooperation is intended to contribute to developing the competencies of future specialists, supporting entrepreneurs, and implementing projects that address the challenges of the contemporary economy.
