Graduates of WSB University’s First-Cycle Degree Programmes Received Their Diplomas

A graduation ceremony for first-cycle degree graduates of the Faculty of Applied Sciences in Dąbrowa Górnicza and the Branch Faculty in Olkusz was held in the Auditorium Maximum of WSB University.

The graduates completed degree programmes in: Administration, National Security, Economics, Philology, Finance and Accounting, Computer Science, Management Engineering, Logistics, Pedagogy, Sociology, Transport, and Management.

The ceremony began with the traditional entrance of the WSB University Senate. The graduates, their families, thesis supervisors, representatives of the University authorities, and invited guests were welcomed by Prof. Katarzyna Szczepańska-Woszczyna, Vice-Rector for Science and Education at WSB University.

During the ceremony, individuals who had distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements were honoured. Awards for excellent academic performance were presented to 11 graduates, while distinctions for the best diploma theses were awarded to the authors of 34 theses. The recipients received congratulations, awards, and educational vouchers, which they may use for selected educational opportunities offered by WSB University.

Some of the awards were sponsored by SD Worx, represented during the ceremony by Aleksandra Rząsa, Transition & Operational Manager, and Klaudyna Saldana-Nyga, Recruitment Lead.

One of the most significant moments of the evening was the ceremonial presentation of diplomas by representatives of the University authorities, Vice-Deans, and thesis supervisors. The graduates were accompanied by their families and friends, who celebrated with them the completion of this important stage of their educational journey.

The artistic programme featured Marcin Kotarba - a tenor, graduate of the Academy of Music in Kraków and a soloist of the Kraków Opera, who performs on numerous stages and at festivals in Poland and abroad.
