Interuniversity Discussion on Internationalization

The internationalization of science was the main topic of the "Foreign Students in Poland 2025" conference held in Gdańsk. This joint initiative of the Perspektywy Foundation and the University of Gdańsk brought together rectors, vice-rectors, directors, and staff from the international cooperation, science, and development departments of Polish universities.

WSB University was represented by Prof. Łukasz Sułowski, President of WSB University; Paweł Urgacz, Deputy Dean for Internationalization; and Denis Spahija, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office.

The two-day event gathered over 300 participants. Discussions and expert panels focused on the latest trends in the internationalization of higher education. Since Poland's accession to the European Union, over a quarter of a million students have fulfilled their ambitions of studying abroad through exchange programs. Currently, 100,000 international students are studying in Poland, with nearly 4,000 of them at WSB University, making it the most internationalized university in Poland.
