Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for Prof. Łukasz Sułkowski

Prof. Łukasz Sułkowski, President of WSB University, has been awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in recognition of his outstanding achievements in scientific research and academic teaching.

The state decorations ceremony was held on 27 May 2026 at the Belweder Palace. On behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, the decorations were presented by Agnieszka Jędrzak, Undersecretary of State at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. The recipients included representatives of the fields of science, education, culture, sport, diplomacy, as well as individuals engaged in social and public service activities.

The Order of Polonia Restituta is one of Poland’s most important state distinctions. As stated by the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, it is awarded for outstanding service to the state and society, including exceptional achievements in science, literature, and the arts. The Knight's Cross constitutes one of the classes of this order.

Prof. Łukasz Sułkowski is the President of WSB University, a professor of economic sciences and humanities, a researcher specialising in management sciences, and the author of numerous scientific publications. His academic and research activities focus, among others, on higher education management, organisational culture, intercultural management, and public management.
